Opinion: Turkey UFO pics- Sudden interest in UFOs in media,
or more hype from tabloid trash?

Hard on the heels of a “revelation” about a UFO over the UK years ago, recent footage has emerged from Turkey of a UFO. If this is yet another media beat up, it’s trash, and so are the media treating an important issue like this.

THIS is one photograph from a series experts believe are the "most important images of a UFO ever caught on camera", showing a saucer-like craft flying in the night sky which under scrutiny even reveals aliens inside.     The vessel was one of a variety of objects - including a glowing cluster
of orbs - spotted by security guard Yalcin Yalman and other residents near Istambul, Turkey, between May and September.(2007)

The picture blurb says “…even reveals aliens inside”.

The saucer resembles, from memory, the original TV series Cylon ships from Battlestar Galactica. Also wrong with this picture is the fact that the source is The Sun, Britain’s boob festival tabloid with words. The Sun article, however, contains a slideshow and media player, which is a little less
oppressive than usual with these hypes. I’ve seen better quality with my glasses steamed up.

There are some features on the “UFO”, but nothing beyond the capabilities of a competent model maker.
